Way back in 2014, a friend at work introduced me to this band and had me watch the video for their song Lydia. I loved it, but it was a moment in time at work, and I forgot about it shortly thereafter. Fast forward a few months and Jerry and I find ourselves hung over on the 2nd or 3rd day of Rock on the Range. As I fight through the shits, the headache and the blazing sun, I hear a familiar song.......how do I know that? As we got to the hook, which is incredible by the way, I figured it out and got really excited. When I got home, I dove into the two albums they had at the time. Since then, I have seen them on my 42nd and 50th birthday, as well as an impromptu show I found them at in Vegas when I was there for work. They have a bluesy rock feel that is fresh. Their new album is tits and I think anyone who needs something new should start with that. Try listening to it cover to cover. As a warning, the lead singer does indeed talk quite often about suicide and his political views. What can I say, it's not for everyone. Lydia, Blood Feather, Plastic Boxed, Little One, and Sertonia are some great songs to try. Enjoy.
